I wanted to get a picture of the kids before school yesterday since they looked so handsome. Such a proud mom, I know. Anyway, I was running a few minutes late and needed to get to my office, so when Caleb said he had to go to the bathroom I told him to just wait until after the picture. Poor child - he really had to go. Notice where his hands are and the expression on his face. Thank goodness he made it in time.

Grandparents' Day
Yesterday was Grandparents' Day at school. The kids were so CUTE!! There were songs, poems, and no shortage of proud grandparents. Thank you Mimi & Papa and Mimi & PopPop for sharing in our special day!

Caleb's arms were swinging away when they weren't busy karate chopping - such a little entertainer.

Not Morning People
This morning I was in the kitchen packing up the boys lunches for school while they were getting dressed. Or so I thought. I finished with lunches and made their breakfast. I went into the living room expecting fully dressed boys. Instead I found this...
These boys definitely take after their mom. It's just so hard to get going in the morning. That's why some mornings it's just Pop-Tarts in the car for breakfast.

Roller Derby
Alex's class had a field trip last Friday to the skating rink. The first and second grade classes all went. How fun to watch! They spent more time falling down than staying up. Alex's knees were nothing but bruises the next day, but he had the time of his life!
Hanging on for dear life...
Doing the Hokey Pokey...
Most of his time was spent like this. :)

Spirit Week
The boys got to have fun dressing up at school this week.
Monday was Ranch Day.
Caleb chose not to participate in Toga Day, but Alex proudly donned his bedsheet.
All three of us in our "Gator wear" for Gator day. The best part of this day is that the cheerleaders sell suckers that the kids can eat in class. Ya can't beat that!
