That was one of the first things I heard Easter morning. Caleb was highly upset and screaming that he was handsome and he was NOT happy about it. I guess it's just so hard to look so good all the time. After we finally got over that drama, it was a wonderful family day. We spent the morning at church, the afternoon with my family, and the evening with Andy's family. Holidays around here are more like marathon runs. The boys had a great time with everyone. They each took turns reading the Easter story at Tammy's house (Yes, Caleb read too. I was sooo proud of him!) Then they hunted for Easter eggs. Best of all, they had a real understanding of what Easter is all about. It's so amazing to watch them grow, not just physically, but in knowledge and understanding. What a blessing!

Easter Parties
Good Friday was the last day of school before spring break, and we know what that means...PARTY!!! Alex's class had breakfast, an easter egg hunt, games, and movies. Caleb's class colored eggs, did crafts, hunted for their eggs, then had lunch. And by lunch I mean cupcakes and cookies. I know I've said it before, but I feel so blessed to work at their school where I can be a part of these activities with them.
Crybaby
No, I'm not calling my children names. The boys were going through their stash from an easter egg hunt we just returned from, when Caleb came across Crybabies, those really sour candies. I told him to eat one and he ran from the room screaming 'No, I don't want to!" I thought he might cry just from the thought of it. Alex of course, bravely volunteered. Caleb, once again ran screaming from the room. "No, I can't watch!!" Such drama. He just can't stand to see his brother in tears, even if it's just from eating candy.
Let's see if these things are really sour.
I'm starting to feel it.
Yup, it's sour.
I can't take it anymore!
