The Official End of Summer

Monday was such a wonderful day. Andy was off work, I was off work, and the boys didn't have school. I was so excited not to have to wake up to an alarm clock. Andy's sister gave us their canoe when they moved to Florida a few weeks ago, because they didn't want to take it with them. We took it out for the first time. I was looking forward to how relaxing it was going to be. I didn't realize that I would spend the first twenty minutes clutching the sides of the canoe for dear life, afraid we were going to tip over. I started to relax and enjoy the ride after a while, and we made it all the way back without getting dunked!
