August 29 was Alex's first day of first grade. I can't believe how old he's getting! He loved every minute, but his favorite parts of the day were lunch, recess, and snack time. What a surprise. He's still getting used to having more homework than in kindergarten, but other than that first grade is a blast!

i hear from my neighbors there is a lot of homework in 1st grade! i already need to brace myself for that! Alex is looking like a little man! There's hardly any boy left! Especially in the picture off to the right with he and Caleb! He looks so old! Oh my goodnes, where does the time go!
I cannot believe how our little Alex has grown up! And Caleb....My how time flies!
