Today we went to the Norfolk Zoo. It was a perfect day with perfect weather. They had so much going on there with face painting, scavenger hunts, and some of the animals out of their cages so we could pet them (including a HUGE python just slithering around the grass). That one freaked me out just a little. The boys had a blast! And of course they had to growl at everyone once they had their faces painted like tigers.

What a fun day at the zoo! Ryan has never been and I know that he would love it. Guess we will have to plan a trip to the zoo sometime soon. Sounds a lot better than it used to be.
I wanted to go to the zoo on Saturday too, but we had other plans. What a perfect day it looks like. I love when you get somewhere and they have special events going on that you weren't expecting - makes it extra fun.
love the zoo! just went on Monday with Katy and the boys and it was SO much fun. i hadn't been to the Norfolk Zoo since Anthony and I were dating, we went with Bridgette and Chad! :) Harrison's been once with Mimi and Papa since but it was a lot of fun with the boys this time! :)
